Remus would be making sarcastic comments about how stags and reindeer don’t even look that much alike and James is just giving him this look like “he’s a fucking toddler he’s not going to know the difference” while wondering if he should get someone to make a shaggier coat to wear just in case

Peter somehow gets conned into being Santa which everyone agrees is ridiculous and James is kind of terrified that Remus is going to drop him but it all goes off brilliantly and the picture Sirius gets is fantastic and Lily can’t believe how mad her husband is but the important thing is that Harry absolutely loved it
