This scene breaks my heart. Loki literally verbalizes Bruce’s darkest fear- the possibility that he’s really just the Hulk, and his humanity is all a sham. Everyone looks at Bruce to see his response. But Bruce is so graceful in this situation, even though he’s probably hurting on the inside. He plays off his discomfort with a joke.
